Support & FAQ

Help for our clients and for users of apps we publish. If your question isn't answered here, email [email protected].

How long does publishing take?

Most projects are ready to submit within 3–7 working days once we have your build and details. Apple reviews usually take 24–48 hours. Google Play reviews can take from a few hours to 7 days, and new personal Play accounts must first complete a closed testing period.

Do I keep ownership of my app?

Yes. Your code, intellectual property, users, listings and revenue stay yours. We can publish under your own developer account (recommended) or, by written agreement, under ours.

Who pays the Apple and Google fees?

Developer program fees are paid directly to Apple (US$99 per year) and Google (US$25 one-off) by the account holder. Our fees are separate and agreed in writing.

Can you guarantee approval?

No one can guarantee approval, because Apple and Google make the final decision. We review your app against current guidelines before submitting and handle any rejection until it is resolved or we agree it can't be.

My app was rejected. Can you help?

Yes. Send us the rejection message and the guideline number. We will explain what is needed and give you a quote for fixing it and resubmitting.

I'm a user of an app published by IIHCS. How do I get help?

Email [email protected] with the app name, your device and a description of the problem. To delete your account or data, see our account deletion page.

What do I need to get started?

A release build (or source code access), your app name and description, a support email, your business details and a list of SDKs or third-party services your app uses. If you don't have developer accounts yet, we will guide you through enrolment.

Apple organisation account or individual account?

An organisation account shows your company name as the seller and needs a D-U-N-S number, which is free from Dun & Bradstreet. An individual account shows your personal legal name. Businesses should usually choose an organisation account.

Why does Google Play require closed testing?

Personal Google Play developer accounts created after November 2023 must run a closed test with at least 12 testers for 14 days in a row before they can apply for production access. We can organise and manage this test for you.

Does my app need a privacy policy and account deletion?

Yes. Both stores require a public privacy policy URL. If your app lets users create an account, Apple requires a way to delete it inside the app, and Google Play requires an in-app option plus a deletion web page. We provide all of these.

Can you publish under your developer account?

Yes, by written agreement. IIHCS would then appear as the seller. Most clients prefer their own account so they keep full control. We'll help you decide which is better for you.

Do you handle in-app purchases and subscriptions?

Yes. We set up products, subscription groups, pricing, free trials, tax categories and review screenshots in App Store Connect and Play Console, and check that the app meets the payment rules.

How do updates work after launch?

Send us the new build and release notes and we submit the update. Care plan clients also get target API level updates, certificate renewals and policy-change checks.

How do I pay?

By bank transfer against an invoice. Payment terms are 14 days unless your quote says otherwise. See our Refund Policy.

Do you build apps from scratch?

Our main service is publishing, compliance and store management. If your app needs fixes to pass review, we can quote for that work.
